How to Host a Zoom Meeting

Step 1
If you do not already have one create a free Zoom account at Zoom.us. The first prompt will ask for your birthday. Do let this alarm you. It is not stored, and is for legal purposes regarding minors. You can create an account using your own email or you can use your Google or Facebook credentials.
Step 2
Install the Zoom application on your device. If the application was not installed as part of sign up process you can get the “Zoom Client for Meetings here.
Step 3
From inside the Zoom application select the Schedule option. Fill out the time for your meeting and save it. Depending on the type of device you are on, you may automatically be take to an email window. Send the email to brown.scott@gmail.com and it will be added to the schedule. If an email screen doesn’t appear, click on Meetings and select the meeting you just scheduled. Click Add Invitees -> Send Email.
Note: You can use the same room over and over again as long as you use it at least once every 30 days.
